The STAR 8000 warning lamp is our most powerful single-sided blinking lamp and uses a very high-quality, powerful and energy-efficient LED. As a result, this lamp has a light intensity that is about 15 times more powerful than a traditional warning lamp. The lamp is not a "day sleeper" but is intended to function day and night. The brightness is sufficient to draw attention to, for example, the start of road works during the day.
The Star 8000 runs on a normal 6V - 4R25 - 7Ah battery and has an autonomy of approximately 340 hours. This means that in normal circumstances this work lamp will function without problems for two weeks without having to replace the battery.
A powerful single-sided warning lamp is particularly useful on construction sites where it is necessary or advisable not to create confusion for oncoming traffic that passes in the vicinity of the site but does not drive through the actual construction area.
The STAR 8000 warning lamp is equipped with a traditional anti-theft bracket but also has a built-in sleeve that fits effortlessly over the top of most types of beacons. It can be secured with a bolt if desired. Please note, however, that the battery of the lamp cannot be exchanged when this bolt is installed. So you have to unscrew the bolt before you can loosen the bottom of the battery holder.
The integrated handle of the STAR 8000 warning light is sturdier and more convenient than the traditional handles that are usually mounted on warning lights. This design makes it almost impossible to break the handle and does not interfere when the lamps are stored.
The 20 cm lens of this warning lamp complies in all respects with the applicable regulations and is designed in such a way that the light is bundled for optimal visibility.
